Privacy policy
Version 2026-09-23 · Available in English only for now.
SlaveRegistry.eu is a free, non-commercial hobby project, built and run by an enthusiast in their spare time — no company, no investors, no advertising. We keep as little about you as we can, we never sell anything, and we would rather you used a nickname than your real name. Here is the whole story, without the legalese (well, mostly).
Who looks after your data
The volunteer who runs SlaveRegistry.eu and SubGirls.eu (they share one system). Questions, requests or complaints: sign in and use Contact the team — a human reads it and answers you there. You can also write to admin@slaveregistry.eu.
What we keep
- Your account: e-mail address, a scrambled (hashed) password, the display name(s) you pick, your language, and when you signed up. If you sign in with Google we also get your Google name and account id.
- What you choose to share: your role, profile texts, limits and preferences, gender or birthday if you fill them in, photos, ownership claims, and whatever you post, message or react with in the community.
- The mails we send you and whether they arrived (one-time links such as password resets are blanked out in our copy).
- About you (optional): your answers to our few research questions, if you give them — for example how important your role is in daily life. They are never published or shown to other members, and you can change or clear them any time.
- How you found us: the site that sent you here (for example a search engine), the first page you opened, and your answer to "How did you hear about us?" if you gave one. We note this once, when you sign up — nothing is kept about visitors who don't.
- Feedback you send through the feedback form.
- Your conversations with the team: what you write through "Contact the team" and our answers. They go when your account goes.
- Technical bits: the web server logs requests (including IP address) for security, and those logs roll over after a short while. We store a scrambled fingerprint of your IP with feedback to stop spam.
Some of what you share is about your intimate life and preferences. That is sensitive stuff, so we only keep it because you explicitly agreed to it when you joined, and you can take it away at any time by editing it or deleting your account. Nicknames, please — and don't put anyone else's real details on the site.
Why
- To run the site you signed up for: your account, your profile, your registrations and the community.
- Because you consented, for the intimate details you choose to share.
- To keep the place safe: spam protection, abuse reports and security logs.
- To learn how people find us, so we know where to tell others about the site.
No tracking cookies, no analytics services, no advertising, no profiling, no selling. Ever.
What others can see
Only what you make public. A slave registration marked public — its name, number and the details on it — can be looked up by anyone; community profiles follow the visibility you choose in your settings. Private is private.
Who helps us
- Our web server in the EU, which stores everything.
- Mailgun (EU region) delivers our e-mails.
- Google, only if you choose "sign in with Google".
Nothing is loaded from other companies when you browse the sites.
Cookies
Only the ones the site cannot work without: your login session, a security token for forms, and your language. No tracking cookies, so no cookie banner to click away.
How long
As long as you keep your account. Delete it and your profile, registrations, photos, posts and messages go with it. One thing stays: a registration's SLRN. The number is never handed to anyone else, so its page just says "withdrawn" — nothing about you is left on it. When you delete a registration yourself, we keep a one-way fingerprint of your e-mail address with the number (not the address itself), so that you — and only you, with that address confirmed — can take the number back if you ever return. Copies can linger in our nightly backups for a little while before those roll over.
Your rights
You can see, correct and delete what we hold about you, download a copy, withdraw your consent, object, or ask us to stop mailing you. Most of it is one click away under Your data & privacy in your settings; for anything else write to us through Contact the team. If you think we got something wrong you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
Adults only
SlaveRegistry.eu is for people aged 18 and over. If we find out someone younger joined, we delete the account.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will ask you to have a look again next time you visit.
